The symptoms of yeast/fungal overgrowth can be far-ranging, and are the result of a compromised biological terrain.

Immediately below you will find an easy self test, along with a list of symptoms associated with yeast/fungal or candida overgrowth. You might notice that the list of symptoms associated with this situation overlap the symptoms associated with insulin-blood sugar imbalance, acid-alkaline imbalance, inflammatory response and mycotoxins. Notice also the manner in which the last symptom in the list connects to Bechamp's "fermentation" i.e.: the feeling of being "intoxicated" which leads to a "hangover" feeling (or high/low mood or energy swings) - due to fermentation and alcohol production by yeast .

The following SELF TEST for Candida (yeast/fungal) is a reasonable starting point in determining whether you may have a problem with overgrowth, and therefore whether you may want to take remidation steps:

The self test is best done first thing in the morning, before cleaning your mouth or brushing teeth: Spit into a glass of water. If your saliva remains floating in a nice cohesive blob you're probably pretty much Candida-free. However, if after a moment your saliva begins to develop long strand-like tendrils that dissolve into the water - or if your saliva spreads out over the surface of the water, you probably have a Candida condition.
